I was required to install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability, troubleshoot hardware and software issues. I used to ensure electrical safety standards are met. And other responsibilities I heard were : Repairing or replacing damaged hardware; Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers ;Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level; Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware; Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting; Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues; Conducting daily backup operations. Managing technical documentation. This was a time where I learnt and self-taught myself some hardware skills, as this was a family owned business.

Developement

Worked on the following site migrations, migrated from static pages to the Vodacom CMS photon: Vodacom Business Africa. Vodacom Business, Vodacom Lesotho and Vodacom South Africa. Technology Used: FreeMarker, JavaScript, Html5, CSS, CMS Photon. I was tasked to deliver clean code on the above websites, building components to be integrated into the websites, working hand in hand with an innovative team of 8. It was also great we learnt some skills on how to work more as a team to accomplish greater results. I was also involved in creating the CMS photon website with all the components that were used for the migration. It was really fun to learn.

We oversee all receptionist and secretarial duties at the main entrance desk. Also performing a range of duties including answering phone calls; welcoming guests to campus; managing walk-in queries and maintaining the campus mail box. But most importantly providing sponsors, applicants and other guests with outstanding service and support. As someone representing the ‘face’ of WTC_, I need to be presentable and friendly, with outstanding people skills. I should also display extremely strong communication, multitasking and organizational skills with a particular focus on paying attention to detail. Since I am studying here , it has been great keeping myself busy at all times.

We gave children a positive introduction to sport by teaching high quality football skills in a friendly, pressure-free environment. There are four different classes tailored specifically to the needs of children between 18 months and seven years of age. As a coach I am required to be reliable, great with kids and a good communicator.

Software Developer- BCX

Working closely with team in developing , maintaining and upgrading the existing project for the Client and I am more involved on the Automation side of the project using C# and the .Net Framework and tools like Azure DevOps and AWS for CI/CD Pipelines in making sure everything runs smoothly within the team and for the Client.
